Accountant Manager

Job Description:

Will report to and partner with executive leadership team and manage small accounting team

MUST BE PROVEN HANDS-ON LEADER

Financial and Operational Management:

  • Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, budget, and audit requirements. Maintain internal control safeguards and coordinate all audit activities.
  • Partner with the owners on strategy related items.
  • Manage cash flow and forecasting. Oversee cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs. Optimize the handling of banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash positions.
  • Oversee budgeting and the implementation of budgets so as to monitor progress and present financial metrics both internally and externally.
  • Manage and track the performance of policies.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable/Invoicing
  • Contact customers for payment (light collections).
  • Create spreadsheets using Excel.
  • Compile reports to show statistics such as cash receipts & expenditures, AP & receivable, P&L, and other items pertinent to operation of business.
  • Complete records to or through trial balance.

Team Management-Mentor: Develop an effective team, managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation.

Job Requirements:

Apple/Mac Tech

Candidates must be highly organized and well versed in Apple Network /LAN Support, Apple Desktop Configuration and Support and Hybrid Windows/Apple Environments. The successful candidate will be able to support remote Mac OS users by assisting with virtual private network (VPN) issues, troubleshoot, either physically or remotely, problems or issues that arise with desktops, laptops and printers, document troubleshooting and corrective actions taken to resolve desktop, laptop issues, or printer issues, and use the various processes and policies in place to install software, implement operating system patches, maintain licenses, protect data, and perform disaster recovery activities.

Business Development Manager

The individual will be responsible for identifying and attaining sales revenue goals. This includes lead generation, qualifying, setting appointments, making sales calls, presenting proposals and closing sales. Effective management of territories and accurate reporting of sales activities is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
  • Remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services
  • System documentation to include system reviews and recommendations
  • Written communication with customers: keeping them informed of progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
  • IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications, as well as virtual environments built on Citrix, Microsoft, and VMware

Systems and Network Engineers

Candidates must be versed in basic Server Configuration Methods including Stand alone and Virtualized Environments, Support of WAN and LAN networks, Backups, Email Systems (Exchange, Cloud and Others) Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity Planning, Desktop Configuration, Support and Troubleshooting. Excellent Verbal and Writing Skills are a must. Experience with Apple products and EMR systems is not required, but would be helpful. The successful candidate will be able to look at simple and complex network environments to troubleshoot any number of problems including, but not limited to, firewall issues, Windows Active Directory complexities, domain namespace blacklisting, printer issues, email delivery problems, backup issues, virtualized system errors, various compliance issues and other problems. In addition, there is a requirement to analyze existing and future client needs and review technical alternatives with these clients to determine the impact on their environment while maintaining a client's security and if applicable compliance needs. The successful candidate will also demonstrate excellent customer service skills as well as technical excellence in all communications, whether client facing or internally.

There is a strong focus on Windows Technologies, Acronis Backup & Recovery Products, VMWare Virtualization, WatchGuard Firewall Hardware, VPN Connectivity, Dell Systems, & Netgear Storage Systems. Other technologies and hardware are also supported.

The ability to safely handle the installation of systems, including the lifting and placing of heavy equipment, as necessary.

Technical Sales Engineer

This position requires both proven experience with technology and outstanding personal communication skills. He/she should enjoy building solutions that leverage technology to meet a client’s business needs. The position works jointly with sales to provide pre-and post-sales support, including tasks such as discovery meetings, site visits, proposals and presentations, technical assessments, implementation and ongoing technical account management.
